City customer service centres
The Customer Service Centre has been established to improve service delivery. Services provided cover customer care, housing, trade licences, and rates and taxes.
The centre is an essential line of communication between the community and the City’s administration and acts as a gateway into the administration. Customer care is usually the first point of contact for visitors or callers. It handles general enquiries and complaints by telephone, e-mail, fax or face-to-face at the centre. Brochures on the City of Johannesburg, maps and business directories are available, as is information on services, schools, restaurants, hotels, non-governmental organisations and so forth.
